This Privacy Policy applies to the P2Pong mobile application
("App") developed and published as an independent application
for Android devices.

1. OVERVIEW
P2Pong is a local multiplayer ping-pong game designed for
two Android devices. We are committed to protecting your
privacy. This policy explains clearly what data we collect,
store, and use — and what we do not.
Short version: We collect nothing. We store nothing on any
server. We share nothing with anyone.

2. DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT
We do NOT collect, transmit, or store any of the following:
• Your name, email address, or phone number
• Your Google account or any account information
• Your device's IMEI, serial number, or hardware ID
• Your location data (GPS or network-based)
• Your IP address on any server
• Your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) or password
• Your contacts, call logs, or messages
• Your photos, camera, or microphone data
• Your browsing history or search history
• Crash reports or diagnostic data
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Advertising identifiers (GAID or any other)
• Any financial or payment information
• Any biometric data of any kind

3. DATA STORED LOCALLY ON YOUR DEVICE
P2Pong stores the following data ONLY on your device using
Android SharedPreferences (local app storage). This data
never leaves your device and is never transmitted to us
or any third party.
• Nickname — the display name you choose in the app
• Audio settings — BGM and SFX on/off preference
• Controller settings — gesture or button mode preference
• Game statistics — win/loss counts, high scores,
rally records stored for your personal reference
• AI unlock progress — difficulty unlock status
• Tutorial completion status
All locally stored data is deleted automatically when you
uninstall the app. You can also clear this data at any time
through your device's App Settings → Clear Data.

4. NETWORK COMMUNICATION
P2Pong communicates exclusively between two devices on the
same local network or via Wi-Fi Direct. This means:
• No data is ever sent to the internet
• No data is ever sent to our servers
(we have no servers)
• No data is ever sent to any third-party servers
• All communication is strictly between the two
players' devices only, in real time, during gameplay
• Communication contains only game state data:
ball position, ball velocity, and game events
(start, pause, score, disconnect)
• Your nickname may be visible to the other player's
device during a multiplayer session for identification
Wi-Fi Direct usage:
When using Wi-Fi Direct mode, Android may temporarily
modify your device's Wi-Fi connection to establish a
direct device-to-device link. This is handled entirely
by Android OS. P2Pong does not access, read, or store
any Wi-Fi credentials or network information.

5. PERMISSIONS EXPLANATION
P2Pong requests the following Android permissions.
Each permission is used solely for its stated purpose.
ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION
— Required by Android OS to discover nearby Wi-Fi
Direct devices. P2Pong does not use, read, or
store your actual location at any time.
ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION
— Same as above. Required by Android OS for
Wi-Fi Direct peer discovery.
NEARBY_WIFI_DEVICES
— Required to find and connect to the other
player's device via Wi-Fi Direct.
Declared with neverForLocation flag —
explicitly preventing use for location purposes.
ACCESS_WIFI_STATE
— Required to check Wi-Fi connection status
for choosing the best connection method.
CHANGE_WIFI_STATE
— Required to create and manage the Wi-Fi Direct
connection between two devices.
CHANGE_NETWORK_STATE
— Required to manage network interfaces during
Wi-Fi Direct session.
INTERNET
— Required by Android for socket communication
between two devices on a local network.
P2Pong does not use the internet.
Permissions are requested only when you tap the
HOST or JOIN button. They are never requested
automatically at app launch.

6. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
P2Pong does not integrate any third-party services,
including but not limited to:
• No advertising SDKs (no AdMob, no Meta Ads)
• No analytics platforms (no Firebase, no Mixpanel)
• No crash reporting tools (no Crashlytics, no Sentry)
• No social login (no Google Sign-In, no Facebook)
• No payment processors
• No cloud storage services
• No AI or machine learning APIs

7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
P2Pong is rated Everyone (E) and is suitable for all ages
including children under 13.
Since P2Pong does not collect any personal information
from any user, it fully complies with:
• Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)
• Google Play Families Policy
• General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
for users in the European Union
We do not knowingly collect any data from children or
adults. No data collection occurs at any age.

8. DATA SECURITY
Since P2Pong does not collect or transmit personal data
to any server, there is no personal data at risk of
breach on our end.
The only data that exists is stored locally on your
device, which is protected by your device's own
security (screen lock, encryption).
Game communication between two devices contains only
game state values (numbers and events) and no
personally identifiable information beyond the
nickname you voluntarily choose.

9. YOUR RIGHTS
Since we collect no personal data, there is nothing
for us to provide, modify, or delete on our end.
However, you retain full control of all locally
stored data on your device:
• View data — open the app and visit Settings
• Edit data — change your nickname anytime
in Settings → Profile
• Delete data — uninstall the app, or go to
Android Settings → Apps → P2Pong → Clear Data

10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If we update this Privacy Policy, we will update the
"Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
Significant changes will be noted in the app update
changelog on the Google Play Store.
Continued use of P2Pong after any changes constitutes
your acceptance of the updated policy.
